John Deere Africa Middle East has officially introduced the 325G Tracked Skid Steer to the African market—a milestone as the first tracked skid steer of its kind launched on the continent. This powerful and compact machine is designed to thrive in Africa’s diverse and often challenging work environments.

Built for Africa’s Toughest Jobs

The 325G Tracked Skid Steer is Compact in size but engineered for high performance, It's ideal for construction sites, mining operations, farms, and municipal work. It offers 71 horsepower (net), strong pushing power, and exceptional stability on soft or uneven ground. With rubber tracks and low ground pressure, the 325G can easily move across sandy or muddy terrain without damaging the surface.

“Bringing the 325G to Africa is a strategic step,” says Griffiths Makgate, C&F Sales Manager for John Deere Africa and Middle East. “This machine is a versatile solution ready to work wherever our customers do—from remote farms to complex construction zones.”

One Machine, Many Roles

A standout feature of the 325G is its adaptability. With over 100 John Deere-approved attachments, operators can transform the skid steer into a multi-function workhorse:

High-flow hydraulics for advanced tools like rotary cutters and brooms.

Electrically actuated Quik-Tatch™, enabling some attachments to be connected without leaving the cab.

Creep control (via the Joystick Performance Package), allowing full hydraulic power at low travel speeds for high-precision tasks.

This makes the 325G a smart investment for businesses seeking both versatility and efficiency.

Remote Control System: Safety in Action

The 325G is available with an optional Remote Control System—a major innovation that enhances safety and operational flexibility. Operators can control the machine from a distance, ideal for hazardous environments such as unstable terrain, waste facilities, or demolition sites.

Key benefits include:

  • Operator safety by removing personnel from danger zones
  • Better control in blind spots or tight workspaces
  • Easier training and remote operation in field conditions

Supported by John Deere and SwaziTrac

In addition to its rugged design and advanced tech, the 325G is backed by John Deere’s expanding dealer network across Africa, including full support from SwaziTrac here in Eswatini. Customers can rely on readily available parts, maintenance, and expert service across the country.

The machine is also equipped with JDLink™ telematics, enabling real-time diagnostics, fleet tracking, and productivity monitoring—all available at no cost to the operator.
